Terms and Conditions

AGTC LTD - Trading as Laura James Bespoke

Terms and Conditions

Your order for goods is accepted and a contract is formed between AGTC LTD (Trading as Laura James Bespoke) and you (the Customer) when we receive payment for the design you have agreed with us and not before.

Design service

We offer a complimentary design service for any projects within our design catchment area (Postcodes BS, BA, SN, SP, GL, OX, RG & SO). One of our Laura James Bespoke team will visit you to discuss your requirements and take the necessary measurements. This will be followed by an email providing you with a detailed proposal including designs and a quote for the build. You acknowledge that the drawings are not precise scale drawings and that we may make reasonable amendments to the dimensions. Occasionally there maybe alterations to the original drawings which may result in the order value being amended, if these changes effect the price this will be discussed with you and a revised quote issued.

Domestic and Commercial use

All Laura James products are designed and manufactured for domestic use. Domestic use furniture is designed for occasional use rather than continuous and high traffic wear and tear synonymous with a commercial or business environment. If your bespoke designs are intended for commercial use, please discuss this with your designer at the start of your project. Any products that are used in a commercial environment, can include but is not limited to gyms, hotels, spas, offices or any other office for business or commerce, and public venues.

Pricing policy

The price you pay is the price stated and agreed in your quote/ invoice, this will be inclusive of VAT and installation costs. While we try and ensure that all prices are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price provided in your quote / invoice, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you within 48 hours, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel in the event that we have made a pricing error, and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Once you have agreed your quote we will send you an invoice to be paid within 7 days. The full cost of the bespoke project must be paid before we start make your design.  You can either pay by card (using a secure link we send to you) or bank transfer.

Manufacturing

All designs are handcrafted in our workshop in North Wiltshire. The time it will take to make your Bespoke product will depend on the complexity, which will be discussed with you during the first consultation. Once your order is placed a provisional installation date will be booked.

Order cancellation

After you accept the order and pay, you have 24 hours to change your mind. After that if you decide to cancel at any time we will retain 50% of the price paid. Any changes you wish to make to the furniture would depend on the progress of your bespoke project. We will do our best to accommodate the change if possible, for example a change to the finished colour or handles, but we retain the right to not accept changes if it is too far into the project.
